Current work is to <br /> include two auger and/or rotary drilled test borings which will <br /> be immediately destroyed (backfilled per County regulations) <br /> upon completion of drilling . <br /> Barings will be 3 to 4-inches in diameter and 45-50 ft in <br /> depth located per plan attached . Laboratory testing on soil <br /> samples obtained form the borings will include various strength <br /> and classification tests. None of the borings are for permanent <br /> use and no chemical analysis is planned for soil or water obtained <br /> from the borings. <br /> Destruction of the borings is proposed by means of combination- <br /> cement and bentonite slurry pumped into the hole ( from the bottom- <br /> up) through drill rod or pipe . <br /> Very truly yours , <br /> TABER CONSULTANTS <br /> Mark E.
