Box 2009
Stockton, California 95201
Dear Mr. Wilson :
Thank you for your help with the recent County soil boring permit for the
Tracy Defense Depot project. It is fortunate for me, and for the project,
that you took the time to check with the Regional Board concerning the work
plan to perform this work, because at this time I am not authorized to
distribute project documents. Distribution of the work plan would -probably
require a written request and approval - a process that may have taken
weeks.
Enclosed is an application for a permit, a check, location map, and well
design criteria for the installation of ten monitoring wells for the Tracy
project. The work plan that presents the general technical approach for
these wells is the same work plan which contains the soil boring
information, and is on file at the Regional Board and with the DHS in
Sacramento. Presently we plan to start drilling these wells on April 27,
1987; expected completion for the ten wells is estimated at May 27. Please
review the enclosed application promptly so any problems regarding to
inspection schedules may be solved prior to the start of work. Your
cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Richard Ki 1 bury
Project Hydrogeologist
/dm l S b
1tr1040687 ORM G
 aV1
G
Consulting Engineers,Geologists
and Environmental Scientists
Offices in Other Principal Cities
