SPECIAL PERMITS <br /> shall be reviewed on an individual basis and evaluated according to <br /> the following criteria: i <br /> i <br /> 1 . The well construction shall not be detrimental to the public <br /> health or safety. <br /> 2. The well construction shall be for a limited period of time. <br /> A maximum time period may be specified by the San Joaquin Local <br /> Health District. <br /> 3. Minimum isolation distances from potential sources of contam- <br /> ination shall be maintained unless precautionary measures are <br /> implemented to ensure against contamination. <br /> 4 . SPECIAL PERMITS shall be identified with a special stamp in <br /> bold letters and all conditions shall be identified on the permit. <br /> 5 . SPECIAL PERMITS shall be periodically reviewed for compliance <br /> with conditions until the well is taken out of service and <br /> properly destroyed. <br /> 6 .
