SITE REQUIREMENTS: <br /> Locate tank away from vehicle�axe�wrwn«.-_~" "`� <br /> Locate tank as close to the b6ilding as possiblo, but not closer than allowed by local codes. <br /> Tank is to be accessible for maintenance and Imurnping. <br /> Place in stable soil conditions, not subject to high ground water conditions, flooding or sliding. <br /> Consult with professional if uncertain. <br /> 3. Connect with straight sewer line, slope sewer line downward from building_ toward the tank(at least 1/4"per <br /> foot or as local codec§084 tre.) <br /> 4. EXCAVATION REQUIREMENTS: <br /> Top or tank to be a 12" minimum below ground level. Maximum depth of top of tank is 36". <br /> Optimum is 18" to 30". <br /> Dig hole from side to side to prevent bridging. <br /> Foundation should be level, firm, and uriiform. <br /> Hole and backfill to be free of rocks, roots or otherhard objects. <br /> Remove any water from hole. Installation of this tank in a high ground water area or wet clay- <br /> type material may void the warranty. <br /> a Make hole big enough to allow good compaction of backfill. <br /> 5. TANK PLACEMENT: <br /> Straps may be attached through the manholes or around the outside of the tank. Level tank. <br /> DO NOT lift tank by attaching straps through the inlet or outlet openings. <br /> 6. With tank in place, place the first one(1)foot lift of backfill. <br /> IMPORTANT: Compnctthe backfill especially well underthe tank springline. Native soil material maybe used <br /> for backfill above the spring line. <br /> 7. As backfill progresses, fill tank with water. DO NOT fill tank more than 12" higher than the level of <br /> backfill. <br /> 8. BACKFILL REQUIREMENTS: <br /> Backfill must be free of large or sharp <br /> rocks, sticks, frozen clods, or other <br /> hard objects which may damage the tank.
