Nov, 1, 1970
Mr. J. Don Layson ;
Salo Joaquin County- Local Health Dist. NOV
P.O. Box 2009 410
Stockton, Calif. SANLOCAL
Dear Mr. Layson; 7 R1CT
I have encountered a problem with which I hope ,you
can be of assistance.
My family and I transferred to Stockton from the
Los Angeles area this last summer and bought a house and ,
22 acres just off of Eight Mile Rd. The house is
Presently in escrow and should close any day,
Last Sunday, Oct. 25, my sister passed away unexpect-
edly and my parents, who are elderlyand
disabled, were left without a homeThey partially
were living
in an apartment with my sister, who was single.
I then bought a 12 X 60 feet mobilehome to move onto
my property for my parents so I could look after them.
t
I checked with._the planningCommission and _I meet
.. all their qualifications but there is an area of doubt
with your department concerning a septic tank for the
mobilehome.
To be quite frank, the funeral expenses for my sister, I'
purchase of the rnobilehome for my parents and the down
payment on the property I am buying has left me about as
financially stretched as I can get and I was informed
that I may have to spend another $500 to $600 on a
separate septic tank for the mobilehome. f
k
Is there some way I can connect the sewer line from
the mobilehome to my present septic tank? I have to
bring my parents to my home within two weeks and I just
don t t have the money for a. septic tank and they dont t
either, since both are on pensions .
My family consists of my wife and me, two daughters,
ages 14 and 12 and a son, age 10. Both my parents are
almost 80 years of age, so there wouldn s t be much of an '
addition.
1
A
