You may install the wells as described in <br /> the report with the following revisions. The screens for both the upgradient <br /> and downgradient wells should be no longer than 20 feet. I understand that the <br /> ground water level at the south end of the site has dropped considerably during <br /> this dry#year and is at 60-65 feet below the ground water surface. Since many <br /> of the existing monitoring wells on the site are screened between 50 and 70 feet <br /> from the ground surface, I think that the two new wells should have similar <br /> screen intervals. Let me know if you find that ground water is much deeper than <br /> anticipated and we can set different screen elevations. <br /> The downgradient well is on the edge of the ash waste management unit that will <br /> be used as a tipping pad. Although the well will be installed in a Christy box, <br /> I think it would be prudent to move the well location 10 or 15 feet to the north <br /> edge of the grave access road.
