David Carls <br /> SUBJECT : ADDENDUM TO PROPOSED WORK PLAN <br /> HAZARDOUS MATERIALS INVESTIGATION <br /> INITIAL SUBSURFACE STUDY <br /> FORMER RULE ENTERPRISES PROPERTY <br /> TRACY, CALIFORNIA <br /> Gentlemen : <br /> Pursuant to your request, we have added the following procedures <br /> to our Work Plan dated July 29 , 1988 for the above referenced <br /> site . <br /> 1 . All borings will be grouted with a neat <br /> cement mixture with 5% bentonite; <br /> 2 . All soil boring cuttings will be <br /> contained on-site by completely <br /> enclosing with a visqueen barrier until <br /> laboratory results have been reviewed by <br /> San Joaquin County inspectors ; <br /> 3 . The Twining Laboratories, Inc . <br /> 2527 Fresno Street <br /> Fresno , CA <br /> Will be utilized as a subcontractor to <br /> AEL to perform soil analysis on select <br /> samples obtained from the proposed <br /> borings . Select samples will be obtained <br /> by screening soil with a Photoionization <br /> Detector (PID Photovac Tip I ) and <br /> analyzed in accordance with the <br /> following EPA methods : <br />
