The facility did not submit a Business Plan for Calendar year 2016, and 2017. The <br />hazardous materials inventory shall be submitted by January 15 of each calendar year and may be submitted <br />beginning November 1 of the previous year. Immediately log into the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the <br />correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br />Facility hired Resource Compliance to correct this issue. The updated business plan was submitted on 07/10/2018. <br />Also, Mason Kendrix is a new Safety Coordinator at this facility and will follow up with the business plan compliance <br />requirements. <br />This was corrected on site. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Onsite to conduct a Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) inspection. There was one violation at the time <br />of the inspection. Violation was corrected at the time of the inspection. <br />Notes: <br />Punctured fertilizers bags observed during the inspection at the Chemical Alley area. Ensure all the chemicals <br />are managed properly to avoid any incompatibility or runoffs to the storm drains. <br />There is slight ammonia odor at Mechanical room #1 due to a failing shaft seal on compressor #2. The facility is <br />aware of the problem and working toward resolving the issue. <br />Oily stain observed on concrete located east of maintenance shop.
