Each label is different, but every label should <br /> contain the same basic information about the material it contains: <br /> • The identity of the material; <br /> • The company that manufactured or produced it; <br /> • Its physical and health hazards; <br /> • Special handling instructions; <br /> • Personal protective equipment, or PPE, to wear when using the <br /> material; and <br /> • What kind of first aid should be given in an emergency, as well as fire <br /> response and spill cleanup. <br /> Remember, every container should have a label. This includes secondary <br /> containers used for materials that were dispensed from a larger container. <br /> 18 <br />
