Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Subject: Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) Site 300 Response to Aboveground <br /> Petroleum Storage Act (APSA) and Hazardous Materials Business Program (HMBP) <br /> Inspection Reports issued by San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Department <br /> (SJCEHD), Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA)EPA ID# CA2890090002 <br /> Dear Mr. Ruvalcaba and Mr. Loehrer: <br /> This letter is being submitted in response to violations issued in the attached APSA(Attachment <br /> 1) and the HMBP (Attachment 2) inspection reports. Three APSA and two HMBP violations <br /> were issued at the conclusion of the inspection. The violations have been transferred to the <br /> attached spreadsheet(Attachment 3)to summarize the pertinent information for each violation. <br /> Also, Attachment 3 provides additional violation-specific corrective action information and a <br /> proposed HMBP Return to Compliance timeline. For the three APSA violations, LLNL Site 300 <br /> corrected two violations and requests SJCEHD to rescind the final violation(Item#203 in <br /> Attachment 1)based on the evidence provided in this submission. For the two HMBP <br /> violations, LLNL corrected one violation and received an extension for the second violation. A <br /> description of the status of the remaining HMBP violation is provided in Attachment 3. LLNL <br /> has provided the Return to Compliance Certification for the APSA portion of this submission <br /> (Attachment 4). <br /> LLNL's HMBP representative Greg Lee, has been provided an extension from SJCEHD <br /> Inspector Loehrer, via email in order to address the final violation(Item#6 in Attachment 2). <br /> Per your email direction, LLNL's HMBP representative, Greg Lee, will update you, if LLNL is <br /> unable to meet the estimated completion date of March 15, 2019.
