In the letter you had asked if
any other reporting is required. As referenced in the email listed below,a completed de-registration form for all
processes that are no longer covered that must be submitted to our department within six months of no longer being
regulated [California Code of Regulations,Title 19, Division 2, Chapter 4.5,Article 3,Section 2745.10(d)]. For your
convenience, I have attached an example of a CaIARP registration form that can be used to de-register the
processes. Please complete the entire form with special attention to item#20 for listing the processes being de-
registered. I have also attached the instructions for completing the registration form for your information. You must
also de-register with the USEPA electronically through the Central Data Exchange (https://cdx.epa.gov/)and submit a
copy of the completed de-registration confirmation for our records within six months of no longer being regulated
[California Code of Regulations,Title 19, Division 2, Chapter 4.5, Article 3, Section 2745.10(c)].
The CERS submittal from 9/29/16 was not accepted because our department was not aware that the regulated
substances were below the threshold quantities until 10/4/16. You will have to make another CERS Facility submittal
that can be accepted to inactivate the CaIARP program and the state surcharge.
I am no longer the contact for the CalARP program for our department. Please direct any and all future questions to
Stacy Rivera, (209)468-3440 or at srivera@s]cehd.com Thank you.
Raymond von FlUe
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
Lead Sr. REHS, CUPA Programs
1868 E.
