REGULATORY INFORMATION <br />U.S. FEDERAL REGULATIONS: <br />Chlorine is contained on a list as required under Sec 101(14) of <br />CERCLA, which includes substances designated persuant to Sec 311 of <br />the Clean Water Act, Hazardous Wastes under Sec 3001 of RCRA, Toxic <br />Pollutants under Sec 307 of the Clean Water Act, Imminently Hazardous <br />Chemicals under Sec 7 of TSCA. Chlorine is designated a hazardous <br />substance by 29 CFR Sec 1910, Subpart Z. The Federal Insecticide, <br />Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) is applicable if chlorine is <br />used as a pesticide or in water or sewer treatment applications. <br />This product contains a toxic chemical or chemicals subject to the <br />reporting requirements of Section 313 of Title III of the Superfund <br />Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 and 40 CFR 372. See <br />Section 2, List Legend 02. <br />OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200 requires that information be provided <br />to employees regarding the hazards of chemicals by means of a hazard <br />communication program including labeling, material safety data sheets, <br />training and access to written records.
