WARNING LABEL INFORMATION (Continued) <br />HAZARD WARNINGS: <br />F <br />1J1-U1-io <br />STRONG OXIDIZING AGENT. <br />POISON. - <br />>AN 1UAgUi,. y;V u „ <br />OF EA_ERGEN' ;' <br />HAZARDOUS LIQUID AND GAS UNDER PRESSURE. ---w-- <br />MAY CAUSE CHEMICAL PNEUMONIA AND EVEN DEATH IN HIGH CONCENTRATIONS. <br />MAY CAUSE SEVERE IRRITATION TO SKIN, EYES, AND RESPIRATORY TRACT. <br />LIQUID MAY BURN EYES AND SKIN. <br />CAN REACT EXPLOSIVELY WITH ORGANIC PRODUCTS. <br />PRECAUTIONS: <br />Strong oxidizer. Avoid contact with reducing agents, combustible <br />materials, acetylene, turpentine and other hydrocarbons, ammonia, <br />powdered metals,sulfur and aluminum. Moist chlorine is highly <br />corrosive to most metals. <br />Before using, read Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this <br />material. <br />Avoid contact with organic products to prevent explosive reaction. <br />Wear a NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator and use local exhaust <br />ventilation where vapors may be generated. <br />Wash thoroughly after handling. <br />FIRST AID <br />EYES: <br />IMMEDIATELY FLUSH EYES WITH A DIRECTED STREAM OF WATER for at least 15 <br />minutes, forcibly holding eyelids apart to ensure complete irrigation <br />of all eye and lid tissue. Washing eyes within several seconds is <br />essential to achieve maximum effectiveness. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION <br />IMMEDIATELY. <br />SKIN: <br />Look for inhalation effects first. Keep airway open if consciousness <br />impaired. Remove contaminated clothing under safety shower. Flush <br />exposed skin with water. Wash with soap and water. If irritation is <br />present after washing, GET MEDICAL ATTENTION. <br />INHALATION: <br />Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, have trained person <br />administer oxygen. If respiration stops, have a trained person <br />administer artificial respiration. GET MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY. <br />
