STOCKTON, CA. 95201 Re: Hazardous Materials Management Program An application for a complaint has been made to this office by the County of San Joaquin Office of Emergency Services, alleging your violation of Chapter 6.95, Sections 25503.5 to 25505 of the California Health and Safety Code. The Code requires businesses handling 55 gallons, 500 pounds, or 200 cubic feet of a hazardous material to submit a Hazardous Material Management Plan (HMMP)/Chemical Inventory to the County Administering Agency. The Office of Emergency Services has made numerous attempts without success to collect a Hazardous Material Management Plan (HMMP)/Chemical Inventory from your business. In order that no injustice be done, a decision as to the filing of charges by this office has been delayed until your statement of the facts regarding this alleged violation is received. Therefore, please contact this writer or Elaine Antolin by March 28, 1994to discuss this matter at (209) 468-2316. In the event you do not contact this office, we shall assume that the facts stated by the complainant are correct, and we will file a complaint. You may wish to consult an attorney and have an attorney attend all meetings with this office. As your business may be incorporated, an attorney will have to sign for the corporation if any agreements are reached in this matter.
