BALDWIN <br />Director of <br />Emergency Operations <br />Account#: 10410 <br />SUBJECT: HAZARDOUS MATERIALS MANAGEMENT PLAN PACKET FOR <br />23265 N HWY 99 W FRONTAGE RD ACAMPO <br />Enclosed please find a disk containing electronic templates for completing the Hazardous <br />Materials Management Plan (HMMP) requirements of the San Joaquin County Hazardous <br />Materials Program. This program is mandated by Chapter 6.95, Division 20, Section 25500 et <br />seq. of the California Health and Safety Code. This law establishes spill and inventory reporting <br />requirements as well as a requirement for businesses handling hazardous materials to have an <br />emergency plan. Compliance with this program also meets the requirements of Title III, Sections <br />311 and 312, of the Federal Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA). <br />To load the templates just insert the disk and download the "Setup" file onto your hard drive. <br />Create a new "templates" folder on your hard drive to contain the template files that will be <br />installed. Then open the "Setup" file and follow instructions for installation as you would with <br />any new software. The program will create a "shortcut" icon on your desktop. If it fails to do <br />so, open the "HMMP97Solutions" file first. After installation you may delete the original <br />"Setup" file. <br />Please send your completed templates to us electronically. Instructions for doing this are <br />contained in the program and can be accessed from the Main Menu. Send the facility map(s) to <br />us by hardcopy or if you have the capability to scan your map(s) send a copy of the digitized map <br />file in JPEG, TIF, or GIF format along with the template files. <br />Plan at your facility. These documents must be readily available and accessible to employees. <br />Authorities may request to see your copies during inspections.
