11 <br />0 <br />RECEIVED <br />T — 4 2010 <br />HAZARDOUS MATERIALS BUSINESS EMERGENCY PLAN SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />EMERGENCY PROCEDURES OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES <br />Emergency response plans and procedures are an integral part of the HMBEP. By taking the time to develop <br />plans and procedures for your business, you will avoid complications resulting from inaction or misguided <br />action during an emergency. Once the plans and procedures are developed, your employees will have an <br />informative guide to follow in the event of an emergency. You must address each of the following items, <br />however, the amount of detail you provide will depend upon the size and nature of the business, the damage <br />potential of the hazardous materials handled and the location of the business with respect to residential or <br />other populated areas. <br />1. EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANS AND PROCEDURES <br />A.
