The submittal deadline for the Annual Certification is
January 15th each year. A courtesy email was sent out to San Joaquin County businesses on
November 16, 2016 to provide a 60-day reminder of this year's January 15, 2017 reporting
deadline.
However, a recent review of the CERS portal information shows the Annual Certification for
your business was not submitted prior to the January 15, 2017 reporting deadline, a
violation of San Joaquin County Ordinance Code, Title 4, Section 4-€3006.
You can immediately correct this violation by submitting your 2017 Annual Certification,
including any changes to your Hazardous Materials Business Plan and Chemical
Inventory, online at http:f/cers.calepa.ca.gov/. If you feel you have already submitted your
required information through CERS or no longer meet the minimum requirements to submit,
please contact Garrett Backus at(209) 468-2986 or gbackusasicehd.com.
Please be advised that failure to immediately correct this violation will result in a
referral to the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office for further enforcement
action.
If you need help with CERS, a list of frequently asked questions can be found at:
https:Hcersbusiness.calepa_C2.govlHelp.
