HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMPLOYEE TRAINING RECORD <br />SAVECO DISTRIBUTORS <br />TRAINING DATE: 05/15/2017 <br />• SaveCo Distributor Facility is smoke free and smoking is profited inside the facility. <br />• Follow all established procedures and perform job duties as you've been trained. <br />• Be cautious and plan ahead. Think about what could go wrong and pay close attention to what you're <br />doing while you work. <br />• Report any damaged butane or bleach product containers to your supervisor right away. <br />• Never eat or drink while handling any materials and if your hands are contaminated, don't use <br />cosmetics or handle contact lenses. <br />Butane: <br />• Prevention: Keep away from heat/sparks/open flame/hot surfaces. No smoking. Avoid breathing gas. <br />• Response: Leaking gas fire: Do not extinguish, unless leak can be stopped safely. Eliminate all ignition <br />sources if safe to do so. If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. <br />Call a poison center, doctor or emergency 911 medical clinics if you feel unwell. <br />• Storage: Keep away from fire, sparks and heated surfaces. No smoking near areas where material is <br />stored or handled. The product should only be stored and handled in areas with intrinsically safe. <br />electrical classification. <br />^, FIRST AID MEASURES: <br />• Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. <br />Give oxygen. Seek medical attention. <br />• Skin contact: For exposure to liquid, immediately warm frostbite area with warm water not to exceed <br />105°F (41°C). In case of massive exposure, remove contaminated clothing while showering with warm <br />water. Obtain medical attention. <br />• Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes thoroughly with warm water for at least 15 minutes. Remove <br />contact lenses. Hold the eyelids open and away from the eyeballs to ensure that all surfaces are <br />flushed thoroughly. Seek medical attention immediately. <br />• Ingestion: Ingestion is considered unlikely. If accidentally swallowed obtain immediate medical <br />attention. <br />• Notes to physician: Symptoms: Dizziness, Headache, Nausea, Frostbite, Vomiting, and Discomfort <br />Hazards: This material may be a cardiac sensitizer; avoid the use of epinephrine. Treatment: <br />Treatment of overexposure should be directed at the control of symptoms and the clinical condition <br />of the patient. <br />Bleach: <br />• Wash hands and any exposed skin thoroughly after handling. <br />Bleach: Methods for Cleaning up Absorb and containerize. Wash residual down to sanitary sewer. <br />Contact the sanitary treatment facility in advance to assure ability to process washed -down material. <br />
