A Hazardous Materials Business Plan has not been implemented. Business shall train employees on reporting and cleaning up oil spills. A Hazardous Materials Business Plan shall be established and implemented for emergency response to a release or threatened release of a hazardous material when storing hazardous materials at or above the thresholds quantities of 55 gallons for materials that are liquids, 500 pounds for solids, or 200 cubic feet for compressed gas, at standard temperature and pressure. Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the required information, and submit for review by the EHD. This is a Class II violation. C-ai o 3 HSC 25508.2 Failed to annually review and certify that the business plan is complete, accurate, and up to date. The business plan information has not been reviewed and resubmitted in the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) annually. Submittal was not accepted on 4/3/2015 and no follow ups or corrections have been made. The hazardous materials inventory shall be submitted by January 15 of each calendar year and may be submitted beginning November 1 of the previous year. Immediately log into the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. Business shall upload a copy of the site map into CERS. A site map shall contain a north orientation, loading areas, internal roads, adjacent streets, storm and sewer drains, access and exit points, emergency shutoffs, evacuation staging areas, hazardous material handling and storage areas, and emergency response equipment. Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. This is a minor violation. HSC 25505(a)(3) Failed to establish and/or submit emergency response procedures for a release or threatened 11 release. The emergency response procedures were not completed and submitted to CERS. A business plan shall include the following emergency response procedures for a release or threatened release of hazardous materials, including, but not limited to, the following: - immediate notification of local emergency personnel and the Environmental Health Department (EHD) - procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to persons, property, or the environment - evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice, for the site Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval.
