Proper unloading procedures, knowing when to say when <br />Action Items <br />1. Proactive upkeep of workstations, daily maintenance <br />2. Evaluate all workstations with cords for overhead potential; proper storage <br />3. Recharge used extinguisher (complete), evaluate all shop extinguishers following training <br />4. Radio for sales office for emergency/dally use (as needed) <br />5. Weekly 'stirring' of extinguishers (assign and track) <br />6. Joe to source quote from Crane -Tech (carryover) <br />CPR Training for 01 - 2018 <br />Incidents <br />While processing parts, employee neglected to wear eye protection and had irritation from Metal debris. We sent him to get checl <br />and the debris worked itself out. No lost time. <br />Attempting to unload a 360 with multiple forklifts caused damage to the sheet, rendering unsaleable. <br />How this could have been avoided <br />Following established procedures and utilizing proper, provided PPE. <br />Not 'just trying', Instead, having a gameplan, getting help before the attempt. <br />Immediate Action Per Warehouse Manager <br />NIA <br />Safety Committee Actions to be updated and posted with next months Minutes to show actions completed. <br />
