The facilities best management practices are periodically <br />evaluated by the Storm Water Coordinators for effectiveness and to <br />ensure compliance with the general permit. <br />MINIMUM BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES <br />The Facility, to the extent feasible, implements and maintains all of the <br />following minimum BMPs to reduce or prevent pollutants to industrial <br />storm water run-off. <br />• Good Housekeeping —An extensive BMP evaluation is conducted <br />before the onset of the rainy season. All outdoor areas and surfaces <br />are monitored at least monthly and before an expected storm event. <br />The Facility shall implement the following good housekeeping <br />measures: <br />• Store petroleum products and chemicals in watertight containers (with <br />appropriate secondary containment to prevent any spillage or leakage) <br />or in a storage shed/trailer (completely enclosed); <br />• Implement BMPs to prevent the off-site tracking of loose materials; <br />• Implement BMPs to minimize dust generation; <br />• Cover waste disposal containers at the end of every business day <br />and during a rain event; and
