I
3.10 Inspection Schedule Analysis:
The next round of formal 3rd party external inspections and interstice observations are in
10 years (2028) for tank 1 and 5 years (2023) for tank 2 due to the condition of the shells and
pitting.
4.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This inspection was conducted in accordance with generally accepted industrial standards and
represents site conditions during the time of the visit. The report is intended for use by
eFuels and may not be used by others without written consent. The inspection did not include
review of all design parameters such as shop drawings. Due care has been taken to verify and
confirm the accuracy of this report.
After reviewing site conditions presented by BATC, it appears that tanks 1 and 2 are in
operational condition. It is required that in the next six months the following required upgrades
be implemented.
1.) Install liquid level monitors and overfill alarms on tanks 1 and 2.
2.) Install proper emergency vents on tanks 1 and 2.
3.) Install proper grounding for tanks 1 and 2.
It is recommended that the following items be completed to increase the useful life of the tanks.
1.) Tank 2 has been damaged in the past and has extensive external pitting. This tank
should be planned for replacement.
Rudolph Bowman, Jr P.E.
Printed Name of SP-001 Inspector
t 10/11/18
Signature of API/SP-001 Inspector Date Certified
AST-40310 November 19, 2020
STI SP-001 Expiration Date of Registration
60073 July 31, 2021
API 653 Inspector.
