I am sending you this message in response to the items noted in the inspection checklist you left during your <br />inspection on 4/21/14 at Chevron Station # 307709, located at 10858 Trinity Parkway, Stockton. <br />Even though I have not received the final report yet, I am hoping that I got the correct information you needed to get the <br />station back in full compliance. <br />Below is our response regarding the items noted in the checklist: <br />• Maintenance and monitoring records not maintained 3 years <br />o Please see attached brine log from Jan. 2013 thru March 2014. This specific record is kept in our Central <br />location. <br />• Secondary containment not constructed to prevent water intrusion <br />o Per the technician, he confirmed that there was no liquid in the sumps during inspection, there was a slight <br />shine of moisture and nothing else. (photos attached) <br />o Chevron contracted Tanknology (current program) to perform a quarterly sumps inspection, Please see <br />attached 1St quarter sump inspection. All sumps were found dry dated 1/3/14. <br />• Monitoring system not maintained to detect water intrusion into secondary containment. <br />o Chevron contracted Tanknology toperform a quarterly sumps inspection, Please see attached 1St quarter <br />sump inspection. All sumps were found dry. <br />o Please let me know if you would like to review the 2013 sumps inspection. <br />• Interstitial liquid measurement method, constant vacuum or constant pressure in the interstitial space of the UST <br />system not maintained. <br />o S3 vacuum sensor in the 87 STP sump was replaced and retested on 4/24/14. Permit application was <br />submitted by Tanknology. Please let us know if you would like to witness a retest.
