Bo;: 115 <br />Colorado Springs, Colorado 80901 <br />RE: HOLLY SUGAR, TRACY FACILITY <br />Dear Harold: <br />fry i. <br />iy n 7 l J r. <br />Per your request by letter dated March .'1, 1986, the American <br />Environmental Management Corporation (AEMC) responded to <br />"Findings, Item No. "' from the Central Valley Regional Water <br />Quality Control Board Inspection Report, dated February 2i), 1986. <br />On April 17, 1986, AEMC picked up Sample Nos. HS -1, HS and HS -3 <br />from Mr. Louis Garcia at the Tracy facility. These three (3) <br />samples are duplicates of the samples analyzed by Eureka <br />Laboratories, Inc. for pH, metals and organics in November 1985. <br />AEMC delivered HS -1, HS-? and HS -4 to Eureka Laboratories, Inc. <br />(State Certification #108) and requested a Waste Extraction Test <br />(with distilled water) for each sample. A lead analysis (EPA <br />Method 74'21) was ordered on the extracts from each sample. <br />Enclosed is a copy of the analytical report from Eureka <br />Laboratories, Inc., which indicates nondetectable concentrations <br />( 'O.C)l mg/L) of lead in each extract. <br />Please contact me should you have any questions regarding this <br />report. <br />Sincerely, <br />Jim C.
