All line leak detectors shall be
capable of detecting a 3 gallon per hour leak at 10psi. Immediately have a properly licensed, trained, and
certified contractor repair or replace the failed leak detector and obtain a permit within one business day
from the EHD. If the failed leak detector can't be replaced immediately, there is a possibility that the Diesel
UST system may be red tagged to prevent fuel inputs.
• Replaced entire turbine assembly, purged 500 gallons and Passed 3 gallon per hour test on 5/8/12
by Service Station Systems.( Passing report and permit attached)
#313) The 87 octane spill container failed when tested. All spill containers shall have a minimum capacity of
five gallons and be capable of containing a spill or overfill until it is detected or cleaned up. Immediately
contact a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor repair or replace the spill container under
permit and inspection of the environmental Health Department (EHD)
• Replaced Bucket 0 -ring. Tested and Passed by Service Station Systems on 5/1/12 (Passing report
attached)
# 406) The Diesel product line (S6) and 87 octane vent line (S21 liquid sensors failed when tested. The
interstitial space of the UST system shall be maintained, as designed, under constant vacuum such that a
breach in the primary or secondary containment is detected before the hazardous substance is released
into the environment. Correct immediately by having a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor
replace the failed component with a functional component and obtain a permit within one business day from
the EHD. If the failed component can't be replaced immediately, there is a possibility that the 87 octane and
diesel UST system may be red tagged by the EHD to prevent fuel inputs.
