The Diesel line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. All line leak detectors shall be <br />capable of detecting a 3 -gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. Immediately have a properly licensed, trained, <br />and certified contractor repair or replace the failed leak detector (LG 113-x listed, if applicable) and <br />obtain a permit within one business day from the EHD. If the failed leak detector can't be replaced <br />immediately, there is a possibility that the Diesel UST system may be red tagged to prevent fuel inputs. <br />313. The 87 octane spill container failed when tested. All spill containers shall have a minimum capacity <br />of five gallons and be capable of containing a spill or overfill until it is detected or cleaned up. <br />Immediately contact a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor to repair or replace the spill <br />container under permit and inspection of the Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br />406. The diesel product line (S6) and 87 octane vent line (S2) liquid sensors failed when tested. The <br />interstitial space of the UST system shall be maintained, as designed, under constant vacuum such that <br />a breach in the primary or secondary containment is detected before the hazardous substance is <br />released into the environment. Correct immediately by having a properly licensed, trained, and certified <br />contractor replace the failed component with a functional component (LG 113-x listed, if applicable) and <br />obtain a permit within one business day from the EHD. If the failed component can't be replaced <br />immediately, there is a possibility that the 87 octane and diesel UST system may be red tagged by the <br />EHD to prevent fuel inputs. <br />Note <br />1. Complete the following by May 27, 2012 and send to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department: <br />a. The Return to Compliance Certification form. <br />b. A statement explaining how each violation was corrected. <br />c. Supporting documentation. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />
