1.0 INTRODUCTION/PREVIOUS WORK
This report is being submitted in response to a request by
the San Joaquin County Health Department (SJHD) for
investigation of soil and groundwater contamination at the
Corrigan property, 620 San Juan Avenue, Stockton, CA (Figure
1).
On May 27,
1986,
hydrocarbon
contamination of soil and
groundwater
were
noted during
the removal of two steel
underground
(u/g)
fuel tanks at
the project site (Figure 2).
Both tanks
were
1,000 gallon in capacity. One tank
contained regular
gasoline and
the other contained diesel
fuel.
2.0 TECHNICAL DATA
2.1 Name and address of site, tank owner and contact person:
Site and Tank Owner:
Contact Person:
Mrs. Zona Corrigan
2336 West Alpine Avenue
Stockton, Ca 95204
Mr. Lee Helms
John Cyr Realtors, Inc.
P.O. Depth to water is
approximately 8-10 feet below grade based on the presence of
water in the tank pit during removal of the underground
storage tanks.
1
