The following is a
summary of all the issues.
According to the archive September 18, 2008 was the last archive, probably when the
nucleus was installed. This site needs to be cold started, T.L.S and reprogrammed. The
In -station Diagnostics (ISD) is not working probably due to bad programming, when
Dresser Wayne installed nucleus. The liquid I witnessed in U.D.C. wasn't even close
enough to set sensors. First the liquid was brine and has no vapor and it was only enough
to set off alarm except in the case of:
There may have been enough to set off alae -n if sensor was in that corner. But all
sensors are set in center of UDC not the lowest point. With that said it probably
still wasn't enough to set it off.
These sensors need about / inch of liquid. Pump will not do it. The dampness in the
UCD's was the brine that has been missing and seems to be coming from brine tubes and
reservoirs, not UCD's. However, cannot be ruled out yet. Will need to replace reservoir
and connectors, and then see if the problem reoccurs.
Diesel sump riser needs to be lowered X think by simply replacing 6" nipple with close
nipple, all will be accomplished as needed. Sump very clean.
Liquid found in 87 and 91 fill sump was rain water and not product. But I did see
evidence of brine leak in there as well, Will monitor it to see if problem exists.
Please note. Removed liquid and brine from UDC's and sump on November 7, 2008.
Will need to finish checking site after permit is applied and approved.
