Installation Instructionsfor Kwik Fit Fittings <br />1. Using the correct hole saw size for the <br />housing size, drill a hole in the sump wall. <br />(Small housing 3 118', medium 5",Large 7") <br />5. Make sure the supplied zinc <br />coated nuts are pushed firmly into the <br />outside housing hexagonal slots <br />8. Torque the fitting together to max 65 inch <br />lbs Smear the overflow bead of Blue Bond <br />801 neatly around the outside edge of the <br />inside and outside housing and the sump.. <br />Gently wipe away excess <br />2. Using Acetone, dean all sump and fitting <br />surfaces before installation. Remove dust dirt <br />and smooth out any large bumps in the sump <br />surface <br />S. Apply a bead of Blue bond 801, or State <br />recognized sealer (e.g. Parasealant 626,13asfik <br />FS1100) into the gasket channel on the inside <br />and outside housing <br />10. Slide the inside and outside boots into place <br />until they are on the housing collars as far as <br />possible. Tighten inside band damps to 85 inch <br />lbs <br />3. Place each flat gasket (beveled gasket if for <br />curved sump), into the slot on each housing <br />side. There are raised notches to locate it <br />securely <br />4. The outside housing has the locating pins <br />attached, 5 an the large housing 4 on the <br />medium housing and 3 on the small housing. <br />7. Align the locating pins through the sump <br />wall and dip the inside and outside housings <br />together <br />11. Pull the outside non metallic <br />Flexidamp tight and then insert the <br />drive screw <br />8. Push the stainless steel bolt through the <br />middle hole of each tab on the inside housing <br />12. Move the non metallic band damps close to <br />the edge of the boot on both the pipe side and <br />the housing collar side. Tighten to approx. 30 <br />inch pounds <br />
