It contains information concerning components and
constructions in this section.
ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS (NOT FOR FIELD REPRESENTATIVE'S USE):
These probes are for use in Class I, Group D hazardous locations when
connected to the intrinsically safe outputs of the Applicant's Listed liquid
level gauge/leak detection system. The probes detect the level of petroleum
products in underground storage tanks. The accuracy of these devices has not
been investigated. Form No. 8468 is identical to Form No. 8473 is the
nameplate color and the circuit code stored in the probe's memory. Form No.
857280 is a vacuum sensor designed to monitor and control the vacuum level in
the interstitial space of secondarily contained tanks. Form No. 330020-= is
a sheet metal bracket with up to four vacuum sensors Form No. 957280 secured
with screws.
Use - For use in the Manufacturer's control, monitoring and auxiliary
equipment where the suitability of the combination is determined by
Underwriters Laboratories Inc.
Conditions of Acceptability - A11 tests are required in the end-use
application.
