Facility has approximately 12000 cubic yards of material on site. Facility must not exceed 12500 cubic yards of <br />material on site. <br />2.) Facility has not received any material for the months of October, November, and December. <br />3.) This business receives green waste from commercial sites. The waste is load checked initially at the business' facility <br />in Union City, CA and then a second time at this location. The material is then ground on site. Facility is not currently <br />composting, but stores the material on site after it is ground until customers are ready to receive it. <br />4.) Facility has a contract with DTE Energy to dispose of their overs. <br />5.) Temperatures taken of the mulch pile were consistent at 50F. Temperature taken of the fines pile was 105F. <br />Temperatures take of the overs piles were between 81 F and 134F. Temperatures taken of the green waste were <br />between 62F and 72F. <br />6.) Operations plan, Fire Prevention Plan, GIMP, and Injury Illness Prevention Plan were available for review. <br />7.) When a safety training is held, maintain documentation to show which employees took part in the training. <br />8.) Increase detail in Odor Impact Minimization Plan regarding how odors will be monitored. <br />9.) Material spread on the ground must not exceed amount sufficient for traction purposes. <br />10.) Odors on site were light. <br />11.) Fly population was light. <br />12.) Location experienced rainfall in days prior to inspection. Ponding on site was minimal. <br />13.) Facility plans to obtain a full solid waste facility permit for composting.
