. NOTE 19
SECTION VIII - SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION
Ventilation methods
If the only available means for achieving concentrations below the ,
TLV when using the product is by dilution with fresh air, 25,000 ft3
of fresh air must be supplied to the work area for each pound of
product evaporated. Since 1 to several pounds of pr3duct could "
evaporate in a day, in addition of 1,000 to 2,000 ft of fresh
air hourly is recommended. This recommendation is fox typical
agitated dip tank use of the product. For larger surface area
exposure sugh as spraying of product, increase fresh air supply
to 4,000 ft hourly.
Dilution ventilation is not recommended if the product is heated
above 1200F. At such elevated temperature, use a canopy hood for
dip applications and a spray booth for spray applications. Air
flow through the spray booth should be 150 CFM per square foot of
face area in the booth.
C'.
