Madsen's Sunrise Dairy
Daily System Check
Each day the following system parts will be inspected and verified to
be in proper working order. The opening clerk will be responsible for this
verification.
The nozzles, boots, and hoses will be checked for any tears or damage.
The suction system will be checked for presence of air by looking for
the following indicators;
1. The cost/quantity display wheels on the meter skip or jump during
operation.
2. The suction pump is operating, but no fuel is being pumped.
3. The suction pump seems to overspeed when first turned on and then
slows down as it begins to pump liquid.
4. A rattling sound in the suction pump and erratic flow indicating an
air and liquid mixture.
The gas prices displayed to the public are correct and accurate.
Cables for hoses are retracting as intended.
If any of the above system parts are verified as defective, a check is
to be placed in the corresponding box on the Daily System Checklist and
Bob or Carol Madsen notified of existing condition.
