The two tanks were sitting end to end (north -south) so a total of three soil samples were collected from beneath the tanks in sandy soil at approximately 18 feet below ground surface, with the middle sample collected from the area where the two tanks met In this area some grey discoloration was noted. The suction piping was located directly above the tanks. Both tanks were noted to be in good contl0ion with no holes noted. Three bottom and eight sidewall samples were collected from the finished excavation.
