Q <br />Drainage <br />Q <br />• Inspect the facility for noticeable oil sheen in stormwater runoff; O <br />• Inspect containment drainage valves to ensure they are capped or sealed closed, <br />1 • Inspect containment areas for visible oil sheens; <br />• Inspect containment areas for standing water that should be drained or removed', anK <br />• Inspect field drainage ditches around the facility for accumulations of oil or sheen @D <br />Conduct drainage inspections as frequently as necessary (frequency will vary depending <br />upon rainfall). <br />Truck Loading/Unloading Areas <br />• Set brakes and place wheel chocks prior to loading/unloading; <br />• Check outlets on tank truck for leaks before loading/unloading; <br />• Check transfer hose connections for tightness before transfer; <br />• Monitor liquid levels in tanks to prevent overfilling during loading; <br />• Check hose and connections for leaks during transfer; <br />• After loading/unloading, disconnect and drain the transfer hose, plug the storage tank <br />valve, check valves and outlets on tank truck for leakage, and ensure that truck is free <br />and clear of the transfer facility prior to departure, <br />• Ensure that connections that are not in use or are in standby status are capped and <br />blank -flanged; <br />• Truck Loading/Unloading Checklist in Appendix B for each <br />Use and sign the Tank <br />transfer and retain records for at least three years. <br />Follow truck loading and unloading procedures and inspections during each transfer <br />operation. <br />Security <br />• Ensure that fence and gates are intact; <br />• Ensure that gates have locks, and are locked when the facility is unattended, <br />• Ensure that lighting is properly operating: <br />• Ensure that valves are sealed closed when not in use. <br />Follow the security measures daily <br />not be documented. <br />Trainin <br />The security inspection is an informal one and <br />• Ensure that training records are in order and documented, <br />• Ensure that annual training and spill prevention briefings are held and documentE <br />11,3 Inspection Checklists §112.7(e) <br />
