Yosemite Ave. for the purpose of conducting an <br />on-site periodic hazardous waste handling inspection. <br />During your inspection, you noted several violations that you informed us were in need of correction. <br />You further informed us that all correction would need to be completed within thirty days; however you <br />advised that extensions of the time to comply were possible. As you are aware Tuff Boy requested and <br />was granted an extension until 2/28/11 to provide confirmation of compliance. <br />I am pleased to report that all violations have been addressed and brought into compliance. <br />Photographs are submitted to assist in your review. <br />Violation Response/Action Attachments to HWP inspection report <br />1. Category: Operations <br />#7 CCR66262.11 failed to determine if a waste was a hazardous waste. <br />Response: Two 55 gallon drums near wash rack contained vinegar. The vinegar was utilized to <br />etch aluminum in preparation for painting. <br />Two 55 gallon drums of paint semi-solids in paint booth, and 3 five gallon pails of paint semi- <br />solids adjacent to the paint booth were utilized to paint trailer decks. <br />2. #18 & 20 HSC25201(a) & CCR 66262.34(f) Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days <br />without a permit or authorization, failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous <br />waste. <br />All HW tanks on property are now labeled. <br />3. #23 CCR66266.130(c) Failed to close container w/initial date of accumulation, Label "drained <br />used oil filters". All containers with drained used oil filters are now stenciled, labeled, placed on <br />a secondary containment pallet and are inside a protective weather proof shed. <br />
