BLOOM COMPANY <br />2010 WEST FREMONT <br />STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br />Sir: <br />In accordance with -our conversation yesterday, this letter presents a brief <br />summary of our intended activities at the subject site. The subject site is <br />shown on the attached sketch map, Figure 1. <br />Analytical data from tested soil samples and water samples show the- soil to <br />have no detectable hydrocarbon contamination and only a trace amount of <br />xylene in the water. The analytical results are attached. Therefore, ' we <br />intend to return all 'of the purged water to the existing excavation. The <br />majority of the stockpile soil will also be returned' to the excavation. A <br />small portion of soil, will not be returned to the excavation. The portion <br />not returned to the excavation exhibited an organic odor during the <br />sampling activities. Although, the analytical data . indicated that <br />hydrocarbon contamination was riot present in the soil, the odorous soil <br />will be separated and spread out nearby so that it can be aerated.
