I <br /> Date <br />" PUBLIC NOTICE : GROUNDWATER <br /> INJECTION PROJECT AT 123 ANY STREET , CITY <br /> The Regional Water Quality Control Board , Central Valley Region <br /> (Central Valley Water Board) has prepared a Notice of <br /> Applicability for coverage under General Order No. R5-2009-0149 , <br /> Water Boards In-Situ Groundwater Remediation at Sites with Volatile Organic <br /> I lips <br /> Compounds , Nitrogen Compounds , Perchlorate , Pesticides , Semi- <br /> Volatile Compounds and/or Petroleum Compounds . <br /> PROJECT TITLE : <br /> James Costigan , Jr. (Trustee for Arthur A. Labour Estate) , Former <br /> Sacramento Plating Site , Sacramento, In-Situ Remediation of <br /> Volatile Organics and Hexavalent Chromium , San Joaquin County. <br /> PROJECT LOCATION : <br /> 2809 and 2815 S Street, Stockton <br /> A map showing the location of the Site is attached ( Figure 1 ) . <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION : <br /> The Central Valley Water Board proposes to issue a Notice of <br /> Applicability to allow the James Costigan , Jr. to be covered under <br /> General Order No. R5-2009-0149 for in-situ remediation of <br /> groundwater at the Former Sacramento Plating Site in Stockton . <br /> CONTACTS The project consists of a adding a total of 3200 pounds of EHCTm at <br /> four injection points near the southeast corner of the site . This pilot <br /> test is being used to provide additional testing of EHCTM for <br /> reducing TCE to ethene and reducing the hexavalent chromium to <br /> trivalent chromium in the area of highest concentrations in the <br /> Questions or Additional groundwater. Following injection the groundwater will be monitored <br /> Information Contact, to assess the results over at least a one year period . Under the <br /> Notice of Applicability and General Order, the project proponent is <br /> Ms. Cori Condon required to monitor the impacts on groundwater. The overall site <br /> cleanup project is overseen by the San Joaquin County <br /> Regional Water Board Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) and a work plan for <br /> (916 ( 464=4792 the in-situ remediation was submitted to SJCEHD in July 2009. <br /> WHERE DO I GET MORE INFORMATION ? <br /> The draft Notice of Applicability and Monitoring and Reporting <br /> Program are on file at the address above and are available <br /> for public examination at the Central Valley Regional Board , <br /> Monday through Friday between the hours of 8: 00 a . m . to <br /> 4 : 30 p. m . , as well as on the Central Valley Regional Board <br /> website at http://waterboards . ca. gov/centralvalley . <br /> HOW DO I PARTICIPATE? <br /> All interested agencies , groups and persons wishing to respond to <br /> the draft Notice of Applicability are invited to submit written <br /> comments to 11020 Sun Center Drive, Suite 200 , Rancho Cordova, <br /> California , 95670-6114 , for consideration by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Board on or before 21 February 2012.
