I thought we had discussed this issue already, but maybe I need further clarification . The EHD
approved the CAP, which proposes to install additional injection wells and then perform injections. The Regional Board is
responsible for approving only a monitoring and reporting program and a waste discharge permit for injections. This
should not inhibit the installation of the wells, just the introduction of product into the proposed wells, correct>
ii
Can EHD further clarify if wells cannot be installed until the discharge permit is obtained ? At other sites in San Joaquin
County we have installed the wells, while the discharge permit is being obtained .
Thanks for looking into this.
Regards,
Daniel Villanueva
Project Geologist
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
Stockton • Los Angeles • San Francisco Bay Area • Monterey • Spokane • Seattle • Portland
Reno • Dallas
Phone : 800-511 -9300
Fax: 888445-8786
dviIlan ueva(a)advgeoenv. com
www. advgeoenv. com
f
2
