Barton , <br /> As discussed on the phone with you this morning , we request to reduce sampling of ten <br /> wells to four wells for the first of three post - injection sampling events at the subject <br /> site as follows : <br />�j Deep observation well EW- 1 and deep transition well MW - 9 <br /> Shallow observation well VEW- 2 and shallow transition well VEW - 1 <br /> And reduce the analysis and field measurements to : <br /> Metals ( Cr III , Cr VI , Na , Mn , Ca and Fe ) , minerals (bromide , bromate , chloride , <br /> phosphate , nitrate , nitrite and sulfate ) , TPH - g , BTEX , fuel oxygenates , 1 , 2 -DCA and EDB . <br /> DO , ORP , SC , pH and temperature will be measured with field instruments . <br /> other deep and shallow transition and compliance wells will not be sampled unless <br /> concentrations reported in EW- 1 , MW - 9 , VEW - 1 and VEW - 2 during the first post - injection <br /> sampling event change significantly from the background sampling event performed on 09 <br /> December 2010 .
