10.14 If volatile organics are determined to be present by sampling the atmosphere with <br /> ,rte, portable OVA, then air purifying respirators (APR's) with organic vapor <br /> cartridges would be worn. APR's would not be worn in atmospheres exceeding <br /> 2xTLV. <br /> 10.15 Contact lenses would not be worn in the controlled area. <br /> 10.16 Positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus would be used in <br /> w. atmospheres exceeding 2xTLV but less than 10xTLV. Atmospheres greater than <br /> 10xTLV, greater than 10%LEL, or less than 209o' oxygen would not be entered <br /> until properly ventilated. <br /> 10.17 Excavations,trenches or depressions would be considered to be confined spaces <br /> and would not be entered until atmospheres are tested and determined safe to <br /> enter, as described in Section 10.16 of this specific-+ion..
