4
collected from two monitor wells: MW-1 contained liquid hydrocarbons and MW-3 was dry. Liquid
-1 at thicknesses of approximately 0.3 ft and 0.11 ft on
hydrocarbons were detected in well MW
15 June 1990 and 31 July 1990, respectively. A sample of the liquid hydrocarbons was collected
from well MW-1 for characterization. A minimum of three well casing volumes of groundwater
en were purged from wells MW-2,MW4,MW-5 and MW-7 prior to collecting samples. Monitor well
MW-6 was purged dry and a groundwater sample was collected after the well had recovered to its
static level. All purged groundwater was contained on-site in a 55-gallon drum pending laboratory
analysis. The groundwater samples and a laboratory supplied travel blank, consisting of deionued
water, were transported under chain-of-custody to Superior Analytic Laboratory (SAL) in
San Francisco,California,a state certified laboratory.
 4 r
f
S
l
1
,
t
y
- 0 6R1JL&%,a 7
i
RES Rim- lwfiffi
