a _ �111- <br /> a x <br /> r <br /> _ - CG71334 <br /> 'I <br /> i <br /> ® 1 11 <br /> 5 GROUNDWATER FLOW <br /> The top-of-casings for the new monitor wells were surveyed to 0.01 h by state-licensed surveyor <br /> John loch of Berkeley,California,on 23 July 1990, The datum elevation for the survey is the City <br /> 'I <br /> of Stockton benchmark at the eastern return of the northeastern corner of the iatersecdon of East <br /> Fremont and Laurel Streets,which is 19.10 ft above mean sea level. <br /> f <br /> Groundwater elevations were evaluated from depth-to-water measurements taken from monitor <br /> wells MW-1,MW-2 and NIW-4 through MW-7 on 15 June 1990 and on 31 July 1990, No water <br /> level measurement could be taken from monitor well MW-3, <br /> as the well was dry. Groundwater <br /> elevation data are presented in Table 3. Groundwater elevations dropped approtrrmately 3 ft <br /> between 15 June and 31 July 1990. The decline may be the result of the fourth year of <br /> below average rainfall for the area. Figure 6 is the potentiometric surface of shallow groundwater <br /> based on depth-to-water measurements collected on 31 July 19%. The estimated groundwater now <br /> I <br /> direction beneath the site on 31 July 1990 was towards the south to south-southwest.
