The datum elevation for the survey was
the City of Stockton Beach Mark#15 with an elevation of 19.10 ft above mean sea Ievel. The beach
g mark is located on top of the curb at the eastern return of the northeastern corner of Fremont Street
r and Laurel Street.
Groundwater elevations were determined from depth-to-water(DTW)measurements taken on
29 September 1984(Table 3). The potentiometric surface map for that date indicates a groundwater
0 flow direction toward the south on the northern part of the site with a westerly component on the
southeast part of the site(Figure 3).
f
5.2 WELL SURVEY s
An area well survey was conducted to locate and identify all wells within a one-half-mile radius
_ of the site. The survey was conducted by reviewing the California Department of Water Resourus
(DWR)registered well logs. Figure 1 shows the locations of the DWR registered wells within a one-
half mile radius of the site. Table 4 shows the well owners and available information. There are seven
DWR registered water wells and one abandoned gas well within a one-half mile radius of the site. The
wells owned by Richmond-Chase Co.,Turlock Cooperative Growers and PG&E are to the south or
southwest of the site. The construction details and flow rates for the wells were not determined during
this study.
`s
066RIN09 7
ty
It
