• Subsequent to evaluation of the pilot test data, design drawings would be prepared, <br /> including one preliminary process flow diagram and one layout drawing of the facility <br /> showing the location of the extraction and injection wells and the major equipment Upon <br /> receipt of agency approval, the system would be installed and operated by Remediation <br /> Services personnel Vapor samples would be analyzed monthly, or more frequently if <br /> necessary, and the system would be operated until vapor contaminant concentrations <br /> indicate a significant reduction of hydrocarbon soil vapor For soil cleanup confirmation, <br /> post treatment soil samples would be collected at locations corresponding to pre-treatment <br /> samples taken from soil borings during well installation If confirmation samples meet <br /> clean-up criteria established by the County, operation of the vapor extraction system would <br /> cease <br /> Groundwater monitoring activities undertaken to gather data for the purpose of defining the <br /> extent of groundwater contamination would include sampling and analysis of water from <br /> Wells 2, 5, and 7 for BTXE, DCA, EDB and tetraethyl lead If groundwater remains below <br /> the existing monitor well depths after the 1991-1992 winter season, additional groundwater <br /> monitoring wells would be installed <br /> A proposed project schedule for the scope of work outlined in the Draft Remedial Work <br /> Plan is presented in Figure 1 <br /> i 2 <br /> REM E D I A T I O N <br /> SERVICES INC <br />
