KETTLEMAN LANE, LODI, <br />SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CLEANUP AND ABATEMENT ORDER NO. 5-00-704 <br />(LUST CASE # 391019) <br />I reviewed the Work Plan for Post Remediation Soil Assessment (Workplan), received <br />electronically in GeoTracker on 30 July 2007 and submitted by Arcadis BBL, your consultant for <br />Chevron #9-5775, formerly located at 301 W. Kettleman Lane, Lodi, California (Site). The <br />Workplan proposed one direct push soil boring (attached Figure 2) to 56 feet below ground <br />surface, using a 20 -ton Cone Penetrometer Testing rig near the former UST complex. Soil <br />analyses will include Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline, benzene, toluene, <br />ethylbenzene, xylenes and Methyl tert Butyl Ether. The data will be used to evaluate the <br />effectiveness of the soil vapor extraction system prior to Site closure. <br />The Workplan is approved. Please acquire the necessary boring permit, and provide the <br />San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department and myself at least three business day's <br />notice prior to fieldwork.
