The three tanks underneath the north and south stairwell and the first four tanks along the south <br />wall starting from the south east corner of the vault heading towards the west are positioned so that the <br />bottom surface of the tank and the floor directly beneath cannot be monitored by direct viewing. All <br />exterior surfaces of the tank, including connected piping, and the floor directly beneath the tank, can be <br />monitored by direct viewing. Correct immediately by repositioning the tanks so that all exterior surfaces <br />of the tank, including connected piping, and the floor directly beneath the tank, can be monitored by <br />direct viewing. <br />603. A log of weekly inspection results of the UST's has not been kept. The owner or operator of the <br />underground storage tank must conduct weekly inspections of the tank and maintain a log of inspection <br />results for review by the local agency. Correct immediately by maintaining a log of weekly inspection <br />results of the UST's. <br />The following regulations must be adhered to in order to maintain the exemption. <br />(a) An underground storage tank that meets all of the following criteria is exempt from the requirements <br />of this chapter. <br />1. All exterior surfaces of the tank, including connected piping, and the floor directly beneath the tank, <br />can be monitored by direct viewing. <br />2.The structure in which the tank is located is constructed in such a manner that the structure provides <br />for secondary containment of the contents of the tank, as determined by the local agency designated <br />pursuant to section 25283. <br />3. The owner or operator of the underground storage tank conducts weekly inspections of the tank and <br />maintains a log of inspection results for review by the local agency, designated pursuant to section <br />25283, as requested by the local agency. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTIO AT ANY T!!"T EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />EHD 23-02 Rev 09/01/11 / UST INSPECTION REPORT <br />
