Chevron Products Company Page 2
Former Chevron Service Station *9-5775 301 West Kettleman Lane Lodi California JuIv IS 2002
respectively. Certified analytical reports and chain -of -custody documentation and
remedial system operation and maintenance field data sheets are included in Attachments
A and B respectively.
DISCHARGE OF ETHANOL AND METHANOL
As discussed with Mike Schafer with the City of Lodi during April 2001, discharges of
methanol and ethanol to the industrial sewer system at concentrations similar to those
found in the remediation system's effluent stream do not constitute a significant threat to
the local treatment system. In accordance with this conversation, discharges of low
concentrations of methanol and ethanol are not considered violations of the discharge
limitations. The presence of ethanol and methanol is thought to be attributed to the decay
of plant material, and is believed to be unrelated to the former Chevron service station.
SYSTEM MODIFICATIONS
There were no system modifications during the June discharge period.
SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS
There have been no violations of the discharge limitations during the June discharge
period.
1AChevron1957751Periodic Monitoring\O & M\Reports\Monthly\Discharge Reports12002Uune 2002Uune 2002 DR -doe
