Chevron Products Company 2 <br />Former Chevron #9 5775 301 West Kettleman Lane Lodi, CA May 4 2000 <br />(April 18 and 25, 2001), and 9 7 ug/l (April 18, 2001), respectively Methanol and <br />ethanol were reported in mid -2 at maximum concentrations of 52 ug/] (April 18, 2001) <br />and 9 8 ug/l April 18, 2001), respectively <br />Petroleum hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates were not detected in effluent samples <br />during the April discharge period Methanol and ethanol were detected in the effluent <br />port on at maximum concentrations of 94 ug/l (April 11, 200 1) and 11 ug/l (April 25, <br />2001), respectively <br />Between March 28 and April 25, 2001, the GWE system discharged a total of 338,549 <br />gallons of treated groundwater over a period of 28 days (Table 2) As of Apn125, 2001, <br />the GWE system has treated a total of 1,869,118 gallons Calculated discharge rates <br />during the April monitoring period ranged from 8 16 to 8 53 gallons per minute <br />During the April monitoring period the system extracted approximately 0 46 pounds of <br />TPHg, 0 004 pounds of benzene, and 4 43 pounds of MtBE To date, the system has <br />extracted approximately 6 05 pounds of TPHg, 0 140 pounds of benzene, and 70 54 <br />pounds of MtBE <br />Discharge of Ethanol and Methanol <br />As discussed with Mike Schafer with the City of Lodi during April 2001, discharges of <br />methanol and ethanol to the industrial sewer system at concentrations similar to those <br />found in the remediation system's effluent stream do not constitute a significant threat to <br />the local treatment system In accordance with this conversation, discharges of low <br />concentrations of methanol and ethanol are not considered violations of the discharge <br />limitations <br />System Modifications <br />There have been no system modifications during the April discharge period <br />Summary of Violations <br />There have been no violations of the discharge limitations during the April discharge <br />period <br />Certification <br />" I certify under penalty of law that this document and all attachments were prepared <br />under my direction or supervision in accordance with a system designed to assure that <br />qualified personnel properly gather and evaluate the information submitted Based on <br />my inquiry of the person or persons who manage the system, or those persons directly <br />responsible for gathering the information, the information subrmtted is, to the best of my <br />knowledge and belief, true, accurate, and complete I am aware that there are significant <br />C 1wLndowslTEMP+Discharge Report doc <br />
