A <br />copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading <br />or manifests for lead acid batteries for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />301 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />Oily liquid was observed on the floor of the shop near the oil drums and from a leaking pump. Facilities shall be <br />maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or <br />surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately cleanup all oily liquid, and manage <br />according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how <br />this waste was managed. <br />This is a minor violation_ <br />303 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br />equipment. <br />An oily liquid was observed in the secondary containment for the used oil tank. All facility communications or alarm <br />systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be <br />tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately begin this <br />practice. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />403 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />-Oily liquid was observed in the spill pallets under the 55 gallon oil drums in the shop without a lid <br />-Liquid was observed in the containment under the 55 gallon drums of soap in the wash bay without a lid <br />-Liquid was observed in the fill containment near the 12,000 gallon diesel tank without a lid <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste.
